It’s been a while, but, we’re back in style!

Alvin and the Chipmunks references aside, the guys have returned with 3 new albums to entertain you with.

On this show we have the second Billy Talent recording, “Billy Talent II”, a trip to I Mother Earth’s glory years with “Dig”, and a rememberance of when Sting was cool with “Reggatta de Blanc” by The Police.

Where’s Episode 5?!

Don’t fret! Episode 5 will be online soon. Craig, our masterful editor and resident radio voice, is trying something new in the editing. It’ll be good.

Rick, Steven and Craig have fun making The Zero Check, and it really is a growing project for us, so you’ll notice incremental improvements as we get better at producing the show. We’d love to hear your thoughts and critiques - it helps us grow - so drop us a line on our Facebook page, Twitter account, or email us (thezerocheck[at]gmail).

Episode 3 is here!

We’ve got an eclectic episode for you this week, with a mix of Chap-Hop, Electro-punk, and Extreme Metal.

  • Professor Elemental regales us with his steam punk rhymes in “The Indifference Engine”;
  • Mindless Self Indulgence drive us bananas with “Frankenstein Girls Will Seem Strangely Sexy”; and,
  • Meshuggah warps our sense of rhythm with “Chaosphere”.
TitleSeason2, Episode 3

Episode 2 of our second season, and things are back in full-swing.

This episode takes a look at the eccentric world of Frank Zappa’s “Over-Nite Sensation”, Andrew W.K. telling us to party nonstop in “I Get Wet”, and an intimate, MTV-Unplugged evening with Alice in Chains.

Oh, and Craig rants about punk music too.
